Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who served as the Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until the year 2019. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is a conservative think-tank.



 



 Prior to her work in the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy under the Trump government between March and October 2018. In 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
